Commission Only benefits the company as it saves lost money on paying people basics that never succeed. As well as bad cash flow, basic salaries always produce losses that must be covered. They make growth very capital intensive. This means that those who do work hard, and close deals have lower overall OTEs to cover these losses. Such as calls made and recorded, connections, messages, proposals, meetings. It motivates as they earn every hour they take real action. Action and Reward are now connected and reinforced. That is often the biggest weakness with commission only schemes. There is too much of a gap between action and reward. It does not connect. The company also has accountability on the CRM as everything must be entered to be paid.
